@Yankhadenough He is definitely the most constitutional republican. He supports our freedom. He is the only candidate apposed to SOPA, NDAA, and the TSA because they are taking away our great American rights.

@TinyMcLarge "Republicanism" is derived from the term "republic", but the two words have different meanings, and people sometimes confuse them. "Republic" is a form of government and "republicanism" is a political ideology. .[6] (source: Wiki)

@Nakor420ish he is the opposite of Our Founding Fathers. Is Ron Paul libertarian? Yes . Is he Constitutionalist? NO
-
@TinyMcLarge your warped definitions of sound straight out of book 1984: "war is peace freedom is slavery ignorance is strength"
-
@TinyMcLarge Republic simply defined is Representative Democracy, Our Founding Fathers even said this. The rule of law is BY the people, for the people, of the people. The ones that are spreading these false definitions of "republic" and "democracy" are AGAINST the people's rule, they are the phoney corporatists of astro-turf "tea party" and are AGAINST the interests of the people by making up these misnomers
-
@TinyMcLarge No, you just made up that definition, which sounds more like DICTATORSHIP!
.
Definition: Republic re·pub·lic/riˈpəblik/
Noun:
A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president...

The therapeutic California attitude is similar to that of the Greeks: even the slightest suggestion of cutbacks evokes class warfare and a litany of sanctimonious reasons why more, not less, public funding is critical for all sorts of victimized categories.
-Victor Davis Hansen, 2011
Who speaks for the broke taxpayer? The country is driven to bankruptcy by sob stories and excuses why some should llve off others.. Totally unfair to force some to support leeches who hate them, ie the 1% who pay.
How can people call this man crazy or stupid? He's like all of our founding fathers rolled up into one and reincarnated. If he doesn't win the republican primarey, he should run as an independent.

@clintcastle - Because he can't run as a Libertarian. And that's the problem with our political system. We have a 2 party system that won't allow any other parties in, which is very wrong. And the two parties have done nothing for the American people for many years, and yet claim we have a Democratic society. It is insane.
