These gulls are klepto-parasitic, meaning, they will indeed take food out of another gulls mouth (gullet). This is very interesting. Usually, a gull will grab and hold with wings of an opponent with their powerful beaks. I am not familiar with gulls such that they compete for a mate. I know they mate for life, but am unsure if they will split up one identity is established. THANK YOU FOR POSTING
