Christmas Concerto Grosso #8 by Corelli performed by the Dubuque Senior Highschool Orchestra.
Violin 1: Nyssa Duchow
Violin 2: Sarah Corfman
Cello: Laura Priest

I really liked how the performance turned out. I was the solo cello. Sorry there is no video, only sound. Enjoy!

  • hehe yeah.. yes the cello is the best.

    Cellists are "non-violint". ^_^

  • Oh, I think I know who you're talking about. Yeah, cellists are pretty much the best. Except that one violinist, you know, whatshisface. Not that I'm biased or anything.

I miss cello. It was tres fantastique.

  • Olivia Schwiendisomething.. she's 1st chair. She also made all-state. She was 2nd chair for a while because the all-star-amazing Bridget Pasker was first chair. Now Bridget has moved onto the actual Dubuque Symphony. :) The youth symphony cello section is like, the best cello section EVER. We rock at what we play, and we are just in general the coolest people there. LOL O__o

  • Yay! I know Laura, who's the other one?

  • aww poor Wahlert. :P lol but their 2 cellists are in the youth symphony, 1st and 3rd chair, so it's good. :)

  • thanks!

  • thank you! Yes, the Dubuque Senior High Orchestra has been becoming more and more challenging each year. We're lucky to have some amazingly talented violinists in our orchestra, along with great violas and some great cellos and bass players as well. By the way, there are only 23 of us (as an entire orchestra)!

  • Wow - you guys sound professional!
