  • Can someone tell me where this airline is based at? I've never heard of them before.

  • Hi AmercianAirlinesRule,

I believe they are a Danish airline. It was only at Manchester for maintenance I think.

  • Yes they are from Denmark

  • @AmericanAirlinesRule They eare based in Denmark at Copenhagen (EKCH) airport. They also fly from Billund (EKBI)

  • @AmericanAirlinesRule they are a danish charter airline and have contracts with air greenland to denmark and have fleet of 737-300qc

  • @sangolt88 take-off speed is about 190-320 km/h depending on the wieght, and weather :)

But normally they rotate at 250 km/h.. I think :)

  • @mcpcshowcaseHD yes its danish and based in CPH and billund

  • @mcpcshowcaseHD They are based in Denmark. It's a charter airline, for example I flew with them to Malta. They can be recommended if you should come across one of their flights :)

  • That's like asking what the average air temp/density, wind speed direction, takeoff weight for a 737-800.

The ground speed is determined by those conditions including whether the crew whch to perform the assumed method or not (derated thrust).

KIAS is what is measured not it's ground speed which is all relative, not that it is complicated to understand. It's ground speed before rotation might be 180mph or 178mph for the next or 155mph on the flight back, it's never the same.

  • A rare visitor to Manchester I think you would have to agree CopenhagenAirport1 .

    Nice vid 5*

  • Does anyone know the average take-off time and speed of a Boeing 737-800? :-D
