  • as salaam alykum wa rahmat Allaah(swt),

may Allaah(swt) reward Yasir Qadhi amply for this. As he mentioned, over 500 verses where Allaah(swt) forbids making du'a to anyone except Himself(swt)!

amongst these, is the following which we are mandated to repeat in every rakaa' of our salaat:

'iyyaka na'budoo wa iyyaka nastaieen' (You(swt) alone we worship and You(swt) alone we ask for help) - surah Al-Fatiha

there's no confusion here, alhamdo li Allaah(swt)!

  • @murfy92786 Dua is a form of Worship,As soon as you do dua to someone else than Allah then you are worshiping that person,

So only do dua to Allah ALONE.

Allah does not need anyone to come in between your dua.

Is it hard for you to do dua alone to Allah.

  • Without the assistance of one's parents/guardians a child is helpless. The medium of parenthood/guardianship is ultimately the assistance of Allah via his servants and so when we invoke the names of Saints we are calling upon our spiritual guardians who assist using Allah-given powers. The soul defines a person and so entrance into the spiritual world (hereafter) only serves to increase the spirituality of a being. If you are sincere then please PM me with whatever questions you may have.

  • @murfy92786 Allah (SWT) Says

Verily, those whom you call upon besides Allaah are slaves like you. So call upon them and let them answer you if you are truthful”

    (al-A’raaf 7:191-194)

  • @choudry1231 Brother give me one ayat or hadith which states that a Fire Brigade helps put a fire out.

  • @choudry1231 Brother, Quran (4:69) 69. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) are the people who will be in the company of those (spiritual dignitaries on the Last Day) whom Allah has blessed with His (special) favour: the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the most pious. And how excellent these companions are!' The Quran does not contain a list all these favours.

  • @murfy92786 Give me one ayat of the Quran or One Sahih Hadith that Allah gave the power of hearing millions of people at the same time to Sheikh Abdul Qadit Jilani (RA) and if you cant then stop lying against Allah (SWT) regarding the quran ayat you quoted Allah orders us to seek means to him and the means to Allah is doing good deeds and following the sunnah of The Prophet (SAW) nowhere is this ayat it says call upon deceased Saints for help plzz brother open your eyes before its late .

  • @choudry1231 Brother, only Allah is all-hearing and all-seeing but Allah can give the power of sight and sound to whosoever He wished in whatever limited measure He likes. Nowhere have I said that Allah gave 'all-hearing' powers to Abdul Qadir Jilani RA. Quran (5:35) where Allah instructs people of Imaan to seek a 'Wasila': 'O believers! Fear Allah persistently and keep looking for means (wasila) to (approach and get closer to) Him and strive hard in His way so that you may prosper'.

  • @murfy92786 The reason it would be shirk is because you gave the attribute of Allah to his creation and you also lied against Allah nowhere did Allah say in Quran and Sunnah that he gave Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani(RA the power to hear all even after his death brother look at it this way you have got nothing to loose if you make dua to Allah alone may Allah Guide You Brother .

  • @choudry1231 We understand from the verse "You Alone we worship and You Alone we ask for Help" which is found in Surah Fateha, that the True Helper is Allah Ta'ala. But it is Allah Taala who has appointed helpers from within His servants to assist the creation with His permission. If I believe Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani RA has the power to hear millions of calls from around the world I do so with the understanding that it is a God given power. How can this be shirk?
