Gear65 #26 - Samsung i8910 HD (a.k.a Omnia HD)

The first non-Nokia device running on Series 60 version 5 is what we're taking a look today: The Samsung i8910 HD, more commonly known by its old name: the Omnia HD. For once, the HD actually stands for 720p HD, as in the ability to record 720p HD video, and not "higher definition than you".

By the way, if you haven't noticed, this is the second Gear65 episode this week! That's right, two for the price of one!!

We used the Sanyo Xacti HD1000, and yes it focuses automatically.

how was the internet speed rendering compared to the other phones including apple 3gs

It's certainly slower compared to the iPhone's Safari browser, or even Opera Mobile found on some Windows Mobile phones

this phone is better than the galaxy s because the galaxy s is made of cheap plastic ,it's expensive can't be made of such material i think this one is better than the galaxy s i hope that i will buy it :D btw really good useful video :))

@johnraypaig No question its Galaxy S. Even you set aside Android OS while comparing you can say that its better than omnia HD.

But if camera light is biggie for you.. Thats gonna be a problem. Rather get samsung wave (which I have) if it's available in your country.
