JVC PICSIO GC-FM1V Test footage

Picked up this pocket camcorder today. Picture not bad but sound pretty dreadful. Was hoping it would be really good as the specs certainly are. Suppose buying before reading any reviews has it's downsides. What do you think? Might take it back and go for the Flip Ultra HD

Yeah, have just ordered the Zi8 a couple of hours ago for £125 from Amazon.

Noticed on a few of their test videos that it had the same high pitched whistling noise as this Picsio but they have uploaded a firmware fix for this on the Kodak website.

Benefit also of the Zi8 is that it has an external mic ouput so I can always get a cheap mic which will be better than the built in one. Engadget and Gizmodo seem to rate it also.

Couldn't stand the Buzzing noise that was on all videos so took this back to the shop. MIght try the Flip Ultra HD instead. Any other recommendations?

i got one for christmas

while i went skiing i recorded some ski stuff in 1080 actually !!!!

BUT NOW i put the videos on my pc and the resolution is now 480x360 !!!

some ideas?! :( im desperate...

Hey, if you think this sound quality is bad. Try some other Cameras/Camcorders. When you look at them. This is pretty good.
