I think people get defensive thinking it's making fun of Italians. Every group has people that don't spell, speak, or act right. I know tons of people here on buisness from Italy and they, along with people from every state that I've traveled to and cultures came up have agreed that "guidos" are an embarrassment to Italians and Italian Americans. If you're going to flame this, at least spell correctly and use propper punctuation or you're just proving my point.
