it is common for people to experience shin splints, this video was originally posted on my blog http://theericbeard.blogspot.com , it talks about the anatomy associated with shin splits and some preventative and rehabilitation techniques that can be done "at home' to prevent and alleviate the symptoms of shin splints. increasing training volume by more than %5 a week and worn running shoes can exacerbate shin splints as well.
