Bowfishing For Common Carp On A Portabote In Michigan With Friends And Family

Please excuse another compilation video. I had made a previous version of this video, but I was virtually shunned and excommunicated from my brothers. They hated the music selection, the longevity, and repetition.

I must admit, I caved to their demands. Hence, you see this latest version. I trimmed the fat and added some new content. I still picked the music.

My portabote, the incredible folding boat, has been fully customized to handle any type of in-land fishing. She bowfishes 2 people like a dream. The fore and aft casting decks work perfectly for bowfishing. She is also a rugged and tough boat. I have abused this boat for 9 seasons now and she is still working flawlessly. As you can see, you can launch any where. Unfortunately, my use of the boat has waned over the years. I still get her out at least 6 times a year.

Even though this is a compilation video, all the scenes were shot on the same body of water. I have fished this water for over 20 years now. She always produces some big-ass carp. It is my favorite place to bowfish. Very rarely do you get the great combination of big-ass carp and clear water. This place has given me so many fond memories with friends and family.
