Acting seems impossible to me..I often wondered if I'd be capable of doing it. I think the worst of it must be losing sight of who you really are, at the end of the day.

Um yeah I am an actor. When you've drilled the lines hard into your head, and then are forced to say them over and over and over again and make them sound real and genuine each time, sometimes with tears, or laughter, or screaming, it's difficult. I'm not devalueing any other profession at all--all I'm saying is don't devalue this one.

Acting is difficult. Anyone who says it's "easy", you're wrong. If acting is easy, then what's the difference between Robert De Niro and Josh Hartnett? Meryl Streep and Miley Cyrus? Jessica Biel and Cate Blanchette? Acting "alright" is one thing, and creating depth and reality is another. Especially on set, under pressure, in front of 100 crew members. It's just as hard as anything else. Don't forget they work up to 16 hours on set sometimes, and it can be emotionally draining.
