  • ThisComesAround - what point are you making? Rachmaninov had nothing to do with the Soviet Union, and Mitropoulos was born in Greece.

  • Perhaps Rachmaninoff and Böcklin were trying to remind us that reality is a unveiled dream and dream is a veiled reality.

  • Why does this remind me more of the Soviet Union than the actual painting?
