This was the fault of the protestants not the catholic church who always accepted these books and had set out their canon long before. this in no way proves the bible is corrupted all it proves is that martin Luther is a hypocrite. And furthermore the canonical gospels the ones contained in the bible are by far the earliest gospels with the other Gnostic gospels being written in the 2nd and 3rd centuries.

Borris, I've noticed you have commented alot on my videos refuting evangelical Christianity - which claims absolute Bible infalibility. The video is aimed at refuting them, since they are people of 'sola scriptura'. You, as a catholic, believe in a parallel tradition of the apostolic fathers, who guided the compilation of a Holy Book for Christianity - fine, but that is a different issue to what was being refuted in the video. The video is not refuting the ideas of your sect of Christianity.

Comparing Mohammed Asad version with the other has more differences than any other copies i've come across...i doubt you would be comfortable with the mutazility concepts in Mohammed Asad's translation...

those are differences in translation, not differences in text (arabic text).

@kironde112 not to mention that even if I were to read it, it would only be a book to me and nothing else. It would be the same as if I were to ask you to read the Bible. The only thing that would ever change my faith would be if God really showed himself to me. Either I am correct with my beliefs or lost in utter deception. I have already dealt with Islam and my personal faith.

@MrBorris58 IN THE BIBLE NUMBERS 23:19 ''God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?'' how do you explain this? is jesus God or part of 3 in 1 God(trinity)?

@psychospores try finish the quran and see if its a word of man or God. get yusuf ali translation. the arabic text of quran is the same since 1400yrs ago it was revealed to mankind

@geistlingster every word and letter in the quran is from ALLAH(God). we know our book. 1.2 billion muslims can't be wrong and soon it will be the biggest religion. just go seat down with a cup of tea or drink and open up the book that has changed billions of people. its you who haven't read it and you just hear about it. so how can you know the real truth?

@MrBorris58 well have you forgotten the first followers of jesus in the first century??? were they belonging to the catholic church??? and were they even called christians? did jesus knew even what the word christianity met before he left this earth? did his disciples who ate, spoke and walked with him call themselves christians or followed the catholic church? you are far misled to the truth. christianity as a religion with 3 in 1 GOD was formed at council of niccea 300yrs later.

MashaAllah, well presented explanation of the Bible - I don't understand how Priests can make their sermons explaining these things yet the congregations walk out of Church without questioning anything because it is all "divinely inspired".... "divinely inspired" would mean the books would not differ/contradict in account - e.g. the 4 Gospels.

I like how these "Bible corruption" videos which use the different number of books in the Bible forget that there are 7 different readings of the Quran, with 111-114 suras among them. Why the inconsistency, my Muslim friends?

Oh, and they never point out that ALL Bibles contain the 66 core texts of the Protestant Bible, and that ALL translations use the same authoritative texts. They also don't point out that the Quran was only codified in 1924...why is that?
