As I was doing my devotion this morning, I felt myself blurting words that were not my own. I felt sense of peace, yet urgency to write these words down. By the grace of God, these words transformed themselves from illegible characters to a song in my heart.

This song is called beautiful life, and it is written based on the hardship and challenges that come from trying to walk in the light of God and in the footsteps of Christ, yet failing to segregate oneself from the enticements of the World and of the Flesh.

No, the spiritual journey every one of us takes is no easy task. But it is definitely one that opens the eyes and softens the hearts. One that teaches us to hope and love.
