France helped American Independence from Britain and America helped France from Germany it's a romantic love story between two countries fighting for one another. God Bless them both - Native American Cajun now living in Switzerland

France is Americas oldest ally and friend. You guys helped us when we were fighting for independence, you gave us the Statue of Liberty as a gift and kept a smaller version in Paris, both of them facing toward each other. I hope that whatever issues that divide us are patched up so we can embrace one another once more instead of muttering behind each others backs.

And God bless France. It seems to be lost to the younger generation that France and America were very close. After all, France helped America fight for its independace.
