The whole thing probably would have been a lot cheaper easier and sturdier just suspended from the ceiling joists.. But I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

@z3125 This isn't the first one of these we've built. We had to make a frame for this one because the Kalamazoo Township Building Inspector specifically required us to remove the last one from the ceiling.
