This is the story of two young people in love. As individuals and as a couple, how will they deal with the fact that one of them is living with HIV? What is, after all, the heart of the matter?
directed by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun; based on an original idea by Sandra Nsambi Nzali, aged 20, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Scenarios from Africa is a community mobilisation, education and media project about HIV/AIDS carried out with and for young people.
It gives children and young adults an exciting opportunity to educate themselves and others about HIV/AIDS by inviting them to participate with internationally acclaimed directors in the production of a collection of short films.
The films are based on ideas thought up by young people in a series of contests. So far, over 105,000 young people from 37 African countries have taken part in these contests. Over a thousand local and international partner organisations are involved in organising the contests and selecting the winning ideas.
Twenty-eight short fiction films are currently available. Some of the films are very touching, others extremely funny. They are distributed on a non-commercial basis across Africa and well beyond, for broadcast on national television stations and on international satellite networks.
Scenarios from Africa is coordinated by Global Dialogues - a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in education and communication about HIV/AIDS.

Its insightful what Lukoba says-but at the same time-every relationship whether between HIV+ people or not is hard to determine. I guess at the end of the day companionship should be what we look for in a relationship-sex aside. None of us would 'wiliningly' have intercourse with an HIV+ person as far as we know-but we still have sexual relationships with people who have an undisclosed HIV status-same difference if you ask me-great film:-)

The lady character is very amiable. In my opinion conjugal relationship is motivated more with sex. I wouldn't willingly have intercourse with someone who is HIV positive even with new technology or condoms. This clip doesn't address the way forward, especially considering your targeted audience. Apart from companionship what is the ultimate objective of having intimate relationship with a HIV positive person?
