A lot of the Sleepy's music sounds like they're doped because the early years of the band was driven by drugs and alcohol. Luke came to find a relationship with God and stopped drinking, and his music since then has been amazing. Miniskirt by the Sleepy's is soooo stupid I'd you watch the video for it. But now, especially in Empire of the Sun, the sounds are just brilliant. GQ awarded lLuke Steele with the Musician of the Year award, examining the fact that he's come a long way.

i dont really understand lukes music that much and honestly... he kind of looks like hes doped up all the time haha. but the member of their band who dies, thats really terrible. its like having your family torn apart.
