@momez86 Againl, I am not a trained musician, but I would appreciate if someone that is could give me some thoughts on this, and more specifically, on the techniques that Xenakis used through this and other pieces.

@momez86 It does seam to me that this piece presents a theme more explicitly than some of his other work, kind of following the reiteration of such theme that characterizes the structure of a fugue. By no means I want to imply that he wanted to compose in the fugue form, since it's pretty evident how the initial theme morphs and becomes something else by the end, but it is striking to me how he uses these more classical ideas as tools for very new and fresh explorations of music.

I first heard of Xenakis because of his architecture work (I am a trained architect, not a musician), but the later discovery of his music is what is more in attractive to me now. Of course it's hard to separate between the two once you begin to get a sense for the totality of his art (music and architecture), and as an outsider to the technical aspects of music I do have some questions that I hope will help me understand his architectural work better.
