I tend to avoid the internet or text people when I'm feeling emotional because I will usually ramble the first words that come to my mind instead of truly thinking over my thoughts and their consequential actions. Though in general, I try to not associate myself with "social" networks. They're just an excuse to be anti-social in real life. Communicate with your fellow peers, not a stranger you just met.
