well it's something very new feeling to me.
my body is almost cold even in summer,
but I feel that my body's getting warm somehow, when I hear his music..
can't explain why, i just feel real amazing.

... he also managed to put echos from his native land in it... a very special "speaking" voice. Terrific oboe playing as well.

It's truly different with Isang yun's other works. It has less move and so pieceful. I never heard any of this sound from Yun's..

The master!! An absolutely unparrelled ear for subtle sonority...I love his music..Many thanks..What happened to part 1. though?
Such completely sublime music from the great composer Isang Yun, composed for the staggering talent of Heinz Holliger, who delivers a masterclass in stunning oboe playing. Such poise, such control, and such conviction of vision in its execution! This is why Holliger excites such admiration around the world. After hearing this clip I immediately ordered this recording online. Such a beautiful sound - round and effortlessly flexible. Matchless, in my opinion! A joy to hear.
