Also: She was serious, this was the actual Thespian fundraiser, there were A LOT of acts, she wasn't the only one; most of them were extremely well-done and successful.

Almost as much as the singing, the awkward standing and smiling nervously at the audience is painful for me to watch. Either make the decision to cheese it up and act like they're the johns in the strip club and you're the stripper Mimi, or DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE THEM. Your sheepish smiling isn't professional or cute.
