Nice store and nice review. You get way more value buying a Miele vs buying a lesser vacuum. These vacuums last longer....plus.... they really clean. Most vacuums pick up most of what you see after going over and over the surface, but leave behind plenty of the small stuff that makes people with allergies sick. It's actually cheaper to buy the more expensive Miele Vacuum in the end.

The S7 is a fantastic cleaner, but your noise comparison was a little misleading as you had the S7 on its lowest power setting which is naturally the quietest. Having said that, even on its high setting, the S7 is quieter than the majority of upright cleaners on the market. Dyson claims to have market leading technology, but they are extremely loud and not as well built as Miele cleaners. If anyone wants a decent vacuum cleaner that will last, I would recommend any model by Miele or Sebo.

@PM777JC -- The bags are very easy to put in the machine. Plus, if you don't have it inserted correctly, it won't allow you to close it, letting you know you need to try again. Handy feature!

All those attachments are great!! They are exactly what I need when I want to really clean every inch. And now that Febreze makes vacuum solutions not only will my house look great, it will smell great. Febreze.com is where I went to save $10 off of rebates for carpet care
