Her voice sounded so good here, but she missed her lyric... It made me think about how Fiona Apple isn't really about perfection, she's about the beauty of anomaly and emotion. She doesn't practice, she doesn't memorize, she just performs naively and innocently, contradistinct to the vehement trenchancy of her intent... did that even make sense?
I produced the sound for a production of romeo and juliet, and for the ballroom scene I had trouble deciding between Fiona Apple's Waltz, or Nickel Creek's First and Last Waltz.
This was after Chris was all mad about the Cubs losing right? Haha.
