I never noticed the Captain America shield in Iron Man......on a serious note, the subtle connection of the heros is a large reason the Marvel movies of Thor and Captain America so much better than Green Lantern last year. The interconnectivity of the stories and giving them all a backstory will ultimately be the determining factor in why the Avengers will be successful. They all have their backstory told, we all know their character, so the movie can plunge into the story with defined heros

Loved all the easter eggs. Question: Didn't Cap go down in the Arctic circle? That's the quickest way from Europe to America. I think the map is of the arctic and not Antarctica. :)

The map might point to important places in the marvel universe, such as Latveria, Wakanda, Atlantis, New York and I don't know the one in green land :)
