In this video, you will see sights in Euclid, Ohio that are still going strong as well as those that faded away. Some of the businesses were Addressograph-Multigraph, Euclid Road Machinery, and Chase Brass. All shot from a helicopter in 1955 as part of a demonstration for Euclid School kids, this footage was almost discarded. Thanks to the Euclid Alumni Association for preserving these memories.
Thank you for your interest in this video. Unfortunately, like most non-news (movietone or event local TV), 16mm movies of that era, these films were shot on film stock that had no magnetic audio track. So what we associate with video today as "NAT" sound, was only a dream for most film AV specialist at that time. I would have been thrilled to present this with sound, if it was available...
