Hole in My Sock *original* by Matan feat. Bizet

I remember sitting at the piano in Rome. I was stuck on a little chord progression which I wanted to develop but I had to catch the plane for London, where I would end up living for the following 2 years (and counting).

I transposed it for guitar but was now stuck with a fragment of a song which refused to budge. One day, for no apparent reason, I added Bizet to the end of it. I may be murdering one of the great moments in modern music, but I mean no harm....

I find that song writing, like hair styles, works or it doesn't. But HOW or WHY it works, I have no clue...
