@dakotatreacy101 That's ok unfortunately the 1984 treaty wouldn't allow that to happen - nor the UN character don't allow foreign recolonization to happen.
Better to have Hk to became an independent nation within the Commonwealth, maybe a Commonwealth realm like New Zealand and Canada.
But it must have to be done without angered the Chinese, maybe some sort of deals.
