  • You have to be patient with the elderly sometimes with their banning this and banning that .This litle "cutie eith the bangs at the barn dance cracks me up every time I see it. Like all classics by Disney Bings' voice will endure just as the" Song of the South " finally surpassed all the so called racial nonsense of Uncle Remus.I am well in my 70s and cut my teeth on Bambi,Pinocchio, etc and now am passing these entertaining VCRs to my great grandchildren

  • @Fiddlercrab35 This is NOT banned. It has been available on DVD in its original format ("Ichabod And Mr. Toad") for over a decade now and there's also a DVD with just the Ichabod short.

Even Song Of The South is not really banned, Disney has just chosen not to release it on home video in the US. In fact, it's readily available in Europe and is even shown on TV there. People often use the word "banned" without knowing what the word really means.

  • So Bram won and got Katrina and Ichabod married someone else and had like eight kids? Weird ending.

  • @raerae1281 It doesn't actually say that's what became of Ichabod...merely that "rumors persisted" that he wasn't killed.

  • Man: Man, I'm getting outa here.

Walt Disney: Man, I'm getting outa here, too

    Lol Love Walt Disney XD

  • @bellamovie2 The "man" is Bing Crosby. Kids these days...

  • This scene, including Brom's song used to creep me out as a child (which is what made Halloween great). Disney should go back to making these cartoons instead of the teen crap no one cares about. And I think the Headless Horseman is one of the greatest Disney villains in history. This was made at a time when Disney wasn't afraid of making anything too scary or anything. They were opening new doors to storytelling.

  • OMG!!! Thank you for posting this!!! I remeber watching this as a kid and it scared the crap out of me!! Now I see it for the first time in about 10 years (I'm 18) and I love it!!!!! Disney needs to go back to making cartoons like this, not the crap that they're making now!

  • I love this version of the story the best.

  • Pause at 5:03

    Creepy...

  • That last part of this entire movie is my fave. ;)

  • Not going to lie, this scene scared me shitless when I was a child. The headless Horseman's laugh, the music, and the fact that I was like 6. Now that I see it again, its not so bad. But still, this thing haunted my nightmares for years.

  • Words of wisdom: Never travel alone at night, especially if it's in a dark, creepy forest and some jerk told a scary story to frighten the crap out of you and your imagination is running wild because of it.

  • hahaha xd

  • @DTVzone I know, it was just a weird end to me
