  • Black women and men: Patronize Black owned shops and beauty supply stores. Do not (DO NOT) spend your money in stores that conspire to destroy Black owned businesses and do not hire Black People.

  • Some of the comments make me wonder if these are the same jerks that don't mind sticking mayo or pig placenta in their hair.. I know they they should not be worried about brown sugar ..seeing as some of their stuff has corn syrup and food fragrances in the hair care containers.

  • Most white people have issues with our methods because the shyt we use ( blacks) can manipulate our hair an get it back to normal white people put some of the worst shyt in the world in it and will beleive the commercials because they are soo nieve. But in the long run they hair feel like fishing string or broom bristles an eventually fall right out an the there nieve asses think dey got cancer.

  • My wife has very healthy, very THICK hair but has never been able to get rid of dry scalp. I take her braids out next week and I am going to try this brown sugar trick. I think it will work better than anything else we've attempted! Thank you for posting!

  • @umkish Didn't understand where this comment was coming from.

  • This is an awesome message. I always try to give my business to my people. However, black business owners need to realize that they must provide better customer service. I refuse to spend money in a place where the owners just expect me to shop there because I'm black, but don't put forth effort in order to keep me coming back. Just because we're both black doesn't entitle you to act any kind of way. Lets put our best foot forward and become respectable BLACK BUSINESS OWNERSS.

  • im not black im a mexican woman and i have dry curly hair and ive been researching on using natural oils for longer more moisturized hair and i have found that coconut oil is a miracle for dry hair and have been scientifically proven to be the only oil to penetrate the hair unlike olive oil. I personally mix coconut oil with avocado oil and rub it on my ends, sometimes i warm it up and massage my scalp and ends then wrap it up in a towel and leave it for an hour or more
