  • may i ask why arn't u using a hack saw? does it really need to be that accurate?

  • Sure, some of that could be roughed in with a hacksaw. It's just a matter of whether you prefer chocolate or strawberry.

  • @TomOswald It seems like a lot of this work (which is exceptional, by the way) can be done a lot faster with a dremel tool. Is there a reason you use hand tools?

  • @BryceSommer I guess it's for the same reasons some of us ride bicycles and not motorcycles. And why I drink my beer from a pint glass rather than a funnel. Speed is not always the goal. Focusing more on the "going" and less on the "getting there" can bring you to some very interesting places.

  • im actually in process of building my own frame for my dream fixie, quick question did you buy the lugs already welded in those angles? or did you make those yourself

  • Those particular lugs are investment cast. The angles can be changed by a degree or so if needed.
