  • Should i get a 27 omnichord model 36, or an 84 omnichord model

  • @Deathsquad49 hehehehe :D Omnichords are like pokemon!!!! Gotta catch em all.

  • An OM 27

  • Hey- the new song sounds great. I use the omni all the time in my own recordings. It's so recognizable, when I hear it in a song it's such a pleasant surprise. Schmaltzy. Cheesy. Heavenly.

  • exactly

  • Casey, can this thing play tetrachords? That means chords consisting of 4 notes like: a minor 7 (a c e g) or C major 7 ( c eg h ) as they are used in jazz. THX

  • The bass notes come in MAJOR MINOR and 7th..

    Hope this helps.

  • Mother Maybelle, eat your heart out. ;)

  • @miro108 I just got an OM 300, so I don't know if the same chord principles apply, but mine allows you to use the major/minor/7th chord buttons in various combinations to play maj7, m7, augmented, and diminished chords. For instance, you would press the A and A7 chord buttons simultaneously to play Amaj7. I had no idea it could do that until I read the directions, so maybe Casey or someone else can chime in on the particulars of the OM 27.

  • In third grade at the beginning of school when I lived in Florida, our music teacher had one and he showed it to us a few times and even with him holding it, he let some of us have a turn and we pressed the start with the rhythems and he said we can press any chord button and then strummed the pad. I was hooked. I remember for the Christmas season, he played "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer" on it and with the3 waltz beat he played "Silent Night." I wish I had one now,

  • This is great!

  • You're awesome!

  • @SuperNoobTroll sorry, m8: German way for saying "b" , so I meant c e g b. When we say "b" in Germany we mean b flat. It' s weird, but still easier than do re mi fa sol la si do, isn't it? lol

  • @miro108 h?

  • that thing sounds like crap

  • dope, dope, dope instrument. the idea behind selecting a chord & then having your other hand be the rhythm is simply genius.
