I understand how you was feeling, I have family out there and was calling every hour also. But by the grace of God they were all fine. I'm happy that your mom was fine and the damage wasn't extremely horrible and I hope the rest of your family is doing fine right now. I ended up going out there the fall of '09 and certain areas was still rebuilding.

aww sweetie i wish i could have gave u a hug man runnin from hurricane ike was so stressful but im close to my mama too and we live in beaumont and my parents bout to move to houston ima miss her bein here all the time

i wish i would have saw this back then my words could have hugged you. you are such a good son, it seems like you father would have been very proud to see what you have become. i would have been going sick with worry too, had that been my fam. I cant understand: why someone would stay i know thats your home and thats your stuff but this is your life how can you place those on the same scale-it'll never be equal. Im so happy things worked out. Is your other fam ok the 1's that lost their home?
