Where's the Cloggs?

This is clogging. The sound is very good but flatfooting has more of a dragslide.

bet you're quite a good flat-footeer. I've been to the Folk Center about 3 times.
LOVED watching the jig-dancers :)

nit could be some buck-dance type too.

I was born in '71 & have been a fan of the old-time style the modern/precision styles to me just aren't as fun. I'm disabled, so I can't dance but, LOVE watching. :)

Cadillac, this looks like older style precision clogging that was started back around the late 60s and 70s, when I started doing this stuff. Thats' the style where everyone does the same step at the same time..These are steps that were done, then..Even precision has changed..But this is not flatfoot dancing..Again,not bad and the dancer is keeping good time, but not flatfoot style.Or Buck for that matter, at least the way I learned it, but we could go on and on..
This is clogging. I am a dancer at the Ozark Folk Center. I jig dance (a form of flatfooting) in the programs. We also have cloggers. The basic step shown in this video is the 'double toe' used in clogging. Flat footing is low to the ground and is more of a slide step. You do not use the double toe in flatfoot dancing.
