A famous waltz (non-original lyrics, though), sung by Maxim Troshin, a Russian composer and poet. Maxim tragically died before the age of 17.

  • Okay, I see. So it could have been a suicide or accidental. Interesting. Thank you for the information.

  • No point in taking guesses.. But knowing his life, his songs, there is no talk of suicide. His whole life shows, everything. He was religious, full of energy, politically and socially active, attracted young people.. At the day of his death he was due to take part in a concert in Moscow - had to take a train in the evening. Rumours are it was murder.

  • His body was found in the Desna river.

  • Do you happen to know what lead to his death?? I can't find much online about him that is in English.

    Thank you.

  • There weren't any witnesses of what happened.

  • The lyrics are more "original" than the later soviet version...

These verses here are what it was like first.

  • @bayonet2 We defend China in this war!
