Hi, everyone.

This is just a random mash-up montage of all the possible contenders for the gold medal in London's Olympic Games in 2012. The countries aren't even sure about who they will send to the OG but I just wonder - who would YOU like to see conquer the Olympics?

Personally, I'd like to see a Bulgarian up on the podium, but my two favourites unfortunately have retired, and I don't think Siderova or Miteva are nearly as "prepared" as Moni & Beti. But I hope Marina Shpekht wins, or if Anna doesn't retire I'd like to see her on the podium, because she is a fighting martyr of this sport and it'd top off her retirement to see her collect a gold medal.

  • i love all these gymnasts and all.... but i dont understand y people assume that the russians and ukrainians are the ones that would always win so i disagree on the idea of making a video of an event taking place in 3 years and u havent seen the potential of other gymnasts from other countries and continents on the new code.... other than that i like the music and the shots...=)

  • Because the judging is so unfair that only EasternEuropea can have the chance to win, plus they have most diffcult routines.

    thank you though :]

  • sessina is 22 so for london she´ll be 26!! too old for Russia, marina (i like her a LOT!!) but she´s too old, and never assist to importan compettitions....kapranova sucks and she´s 23

  • Viner will do ANYTHING to make either Sessina or Kapra (her "golden gymnasts") sweep up the podium, even if Vera or Olya do not wish to go. :[

  • bessonova is not assisting to London cuz she´s 25!! too old....besides i dont like her cuz she has no back flexibility, Alina Max. is good! the future of ucraine, Eugenia (i dont like her but she´s obiously going)

  • Cid was 28 when she retired, plus, Anna is a GREAT gymnast, and she has some medical disability where she have no feeling in here limbs at the times. :[

I think Anna Bessonova will retire this year like Sessina. I'm not sure Kapranova will staye in London.

    Kanaevaaaa THE BEST!

  • Contra:Kapranova,Kanaeva

    Pro:Shpekht,Ermakova

i think bessonova and sessina will retire this year.

maybe bessonova will do it 'til the olympics 2012,but in my opinion vera will leave soon..

  • @gymbourini let's face it.. the Russians have an innate talent and I have yet to find someone who's not russian and has the same grace and elegance that Kanaeva, Kabaeva and Bessonova have!!!! But then again, they train a lot and practically live for that sport! They pretty much do nothing else … I'm not saying that others aren't great (heck, I would want to be able to do what most of them do :) ) but Russia is phenomenal when it comes to RG!!

  • when is the date, and where in london? :-)

kapranova or alina, they are such beautiful gymnastis!

  • I just hope that it's not Evgenia Kanaeva winning gold next year - I love her and was so happy when she won gold in 2008, but I'm just ready for something or someone new in RG. I guess it's too predictable and monotonous for me now. It doesn't look like gymnastics to me because of the contortionism and figure skating leotards. But to answer the question: I think Evgenia Kanaeva will win gold, Kondakova will win silver, and Staniouta - bronze. I wish that it would be different :D

  • frankie jones is doing the olympics.

  • @seriex5 Bessonova is a fabulous gymnast and although her back isn't as flexible as Kabaeva her split is far far greater than any other gymnast and she can do a split leap at the same degree any other gymnast would be stretching on a good day

  • But...some of these gymnasts have already retired. So how are they suppose do compete in the London olympics if they have quitted RG?

  • Honestly, I think Charkashyna or Staniouta have a better chance to make the podium instead of the Ukranians. The first two places will probably go to Evgenia and Dmitireva/Kondakova (whoever Viner chooses to send) and third place will go to Staniouta/Charkashyna/Maksimenko (and if we aren't lucky, Viner will hand the bronze medal to Garaeva)

  • anna can´t win anymore she finished you know):

  • this is very inaaccurate, some of these gymnasts are alrady retired.....
