y'know, Wolfgang isn't a bad player, he just doesn't have much stage presence. He either strolls around stage or just stands static. If he got more into it and looked like he was having fun I think everyone would love this kid.

Michael Anthony is the most underrated bass player in the business. The guy is dynamic, has chops, stage presence, and can sing his ass off. If you don't believe me, just YouTube some of the older stuff, especially Unchained from 81.

I saw them on every tour when Dave was singing with them in the late 70's and early 80's. Every show was great, I am sure this great time was fueled with herb and alcohol. They sound the same they just need mike back.
