Pandaps Pond in Blacksburg, Va. rarely feezes over, let alone strong enough to hold people. Our battery dies before we were able to film the pond, but trust us, it was "cool". On our way to the pond we took our new Christmas present for a test spin. Pete got a geomate junior geocaching gps. It comes preloaded with about 250LK caches around the world. Whereever you are, turn it on and it will point you to the nearest one.

We found two caches today, did some sledding, and crossed the frozen pond. On our way across the pond we saw an ear and an antler sticking out of the ice. Upon closer inspection we found a deer frozen and submerged in the ice...only his ear, antler and part of his abdomen were sticking out - sorry we didn't get video of that either.
