Our program enables remodelers to at least double their margins on cabinets or to offer their customers more on the overall project as a result of the significant savings-a significant competitive edge over their competitors buying through traditional channels. Gone are the days of feeling good about a 10% contractors discount from their suppliers. Kitchens can now become a real profit center or you can offer your customer the best price around for a kitchen remodeling project- you decide.

Remodelers Demanded and We Responded

Direct Kitchen Products was started in 2005 when design oriented remodeling contractors began asking us for greater say, involvement, and control over their kitchen remodeling projects. They were willing to increase their responsibility in designing, selling, and executing the job to accomplish their goal.

And they wanted a greater portion of the profits for their efforts. They needed an option that didnt force them to open a showroom- just to improve their buying power- opening a showroom can cost as much as $80,000.00 - $200,000.00. Not to mention that buying direct wasnt always the best route for accomplishing their goals. They wanted to focus on remodeling houses not running a retail kitchen and bath store. A big priority was ongoing design and ordering support, without paying the high price of buying from kitchen dealers, or undergoing the huge commitment and expense of a showroom.

Our program was developed on the simple idea of sharing responsibility for the 3 major areas that drive up the price remodelers pay for cabinetry:

ordering
layout
and color selection

We found that remodelers were already doing significant parts of these big 3, but werent getting the best price for their efforts. Sure their cabinetry suppliers thought they were great customers, for all the work they were doing for them, but rarely did that result in more profit or control.
