@freejutube To some degree, but there was A LOT of human activity at the local quarry for many, many generations, so it's not as common as the knapped/worked material. I'll send you a vid I made last year so you can take a look. :)

Nice chase on those elk, damn son! Thought you might bust out an atlatl and take one down!! :) Cool quartzite , there's a quarry near my house that Natives have used for thousands of years....hard, durable material. Thanks for postin' up!

yes, these are red deers ("cervus elaphus") i think ;
you can see them a bit better in the video "5 bucks - pursuit ..."
