all you mentioned are pretty much standard sci fi (armor, alien invasions, etc)

overall: 1 is about a super solider against all odds while the other is about an ordinary human who pretty much is constantly stalled by political bullshit in his quest to save the galaxy

universes: its more like star wars cuz its a galaxy of aliens all living peacefully with humans with politics as a heavy factor & some beings have telekinetic powers
