Hello, I was wondering if you could pleas tell me what brand your straightener you use and what's it's voltage? You see i have a straightener already, that I've tried to use, but the darn thing isn't hot enough to seal my dreads properly and i'm trying to buy a new one that will.

@blackbeltwezal I believe this one is a gh. Any professional quality one will work, if you can find one with different temperature setting it will work well. Usually they go up to 420 degress

When i use my straightners on synthetic dreads, they burn, curl up and go nasty...

@milzomassacre94 There could be a couple reasons for this. One, your dread is not wet enough. Two, your flat iron's heat is up too high for the fiber you are working with.
