  • How do we connect this thing, I've tried with 2 different HDDs, a 40GB SATA and a 250GB PATA.

    The SATA got corrupted, and the PATA showed up but my touchpad stopped working properly while I had it connected.

    yes, detected as USB Hard drive

  • If Your mainboard have USB Boot option,

  • @Alantgv If your BIOS supports booting from USB storage, you can.
