rare documentary of Oreo's humming honking sound(usually at nonrecordable volume when he circles my feet) and stretching. :) Have to wait a while for him to be ready to come out.

  • Wow thanks for this video! I just adopted a lop a week ago. She just started making this noise about 2 days ago. She runs around me and hums. LOL I was wondering what it meant. She still won't let me pet her much though.

  • give your lop some time to trust you. don't try to grab her or anything. just sit there, let her explore you, and eventually if it comes to you you can try petting it. That's how I got closer to Oreo ^_^ good luck!

  • My bunny has started making a noise just like this. I was worried she had some sort of respiratory problem, phew! Cute bunny!

  • ha, your bun starting to love you more and more! :)

  • He is in luv with you:) What a cutie. My bun is blind and also honks/hums at everything he likes: the dog, his food, his toys, but mostly me. They are very emotional. He first did it after a long period of time when he was confined to a cage because of moving and was let free again. He did that exact move of running happy honk. He does it more as he gets older.

  • My lop used to make that noise until he was fixed. Now he thumps whenever either I or my boyfriend say "vet" or anything that sounds like that.

  • Aww, your bunny must really love you! =) It's nice to see that.

  • Mog used to be more vocal before he got neutered. He made that sound too as well as oinks. He is way less vocal now though.

  • Hi J. Ya, he does sound like that. Oreo is one beautiful Holland eh? Got a great head.

  • That was very cool. The humming/buzzing is a sign that he likes you. Some bunnies also oink like a little pig, some honk. Most though are usually fairly silent.
