I took this video of Tommy Emmanuel on a Canon A620 digital camera during a live performance at Tower records on West End Ave. in Nashville, TN on 7/12/2006. You can see more of Tommy on his web site at http://www.tommyemmanuel.com.

When he saw me trying to take a picture of him playing he said, "You'll never get it on film. It's too fast."

  • Truly amazing! Gameshow Rag into Cannonball Rag! Doesn't get any better!

  • He was truely amazing. Not just his guitar work, but his ability to come into a quiet record store, and with nothing but a guitar, have the place rockin' and the audience yelling with delight.

  • Wow. I saw he was nominated for a Grammy this year. Seeing this... I understand why.

  • As soon as I can get my jaw back in it's socket, I'm going to go burn all my guitars. What he's doing is inhuman and I'm quite sure defying a law of physics or two. Ultra clean, insanely fast, and with such efforlessness... simply mind boggling!

  • 5 stars just ain't enough! This guy is the best guitarist on the planet!

  • 'whats he charge for guitar lessons' Probably just a few million an hour. :p

Nah. As far as I know you'd have to be a pretty awesome guitar player already to get lessons from Tommy Emmanuel.

I don't know if I would call them lessons though.
