This interviews were made some 20-30years ago long before the Macedonia Greece name dispute. The distinction between Macedonians and Greeks, their political system, mentality and culture are clearly displayed hear.Because Macedonia didn't had an independent state in these times the GREEK and foreign historians denyed the modern existence of the Macedonians and regard them as an extinct nation SEPARATE and DIFFERENT from the ancient Greeks.

We would like to thank the Greek government at that time, Greece archaeological site director and team leaders,Greece national museums, and their English friends for making this film possible. In this documentary appears Yugin Borza the leading world historian on ancient Macedonia and the Greek archeological site director Stella Drugu.

Greece and Bulgaria are the only countries in the world that do not recognize Macedonians, oppressing them in the Pirin and the Aegean part of ethnic Macedonia that is under their occupation till this day.

I dedicate this to my exiled family my suffered nation and my divided country.Macedonia to the Macedonians

  • all these artefacts should be in macedonian museums

  • Makedonci, ne nasjedajte na gluposti Engleza! Oni niti imaju pismo niti znaju istoriju. I oni se još uvijek pitaju: "Ko smo, šta smo?". NI oni ništa ne znaju! Jedino što znaju je da prenose svoje NEZNANJE na sve živo! Držite se onoga što znate!

  • @telecomvideo I AGREE WITH YOU ONLY TO AD THAT ARISTOTELIS WAS BORN IN STAGYRA END THAT CITY WAS ATHAINIAN COLONY

  • A) All Greeks called each other barbarian when disagreeing. IF THE MACEDONIANS WEREN'T GREEK, IT WOULDN'T BE MUCH OF AN INSULT. It would be like calling an American 'Non-Greek'. Not very scathing..

    B) Aristotle is mentioned as a Greek philosopher – correctly. Funny they don't mention he was born in Chalkidiki, Macedonia to the personal physician of King Amyntas, of the Kingdom of Macedonia.

    C) Only Greeks were accepted to take part in the Olympic games (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

    QED

  • But beyond the fact that Demosthenes harbored a personal grudge against Philip because of the humiliation he suffered when he lost his power of speech at the Macedonian court (Aischines, On the Embassy 35), Demosthenes could call anyone he did not like a barbarian, including fellow Athenians (e.g. 21.150). The word, at least in some uses by Demosthenes and others, should be understood as a generic insult.
