the plastic piece is just a flat strip.
It's used to leverage the top head up and over the platter. That's a single platter drive, so he only has to seperate the two heads. he's using the tweezers to lightly press down on the lower head's arm, so it clears the plater.

What I could not figure out was:
The guy puts a plastic slice between the two heads and then while approaching the head to the platter, it looks like as if one part of the plastic slice stays under the platter. But once the whole head is on the platter he pulls away the slice between the heads and at that moment you recognise that the slice was actually on top of the platter. So what is actually going on with the slice between the heads? Is it a folded one? But thanks a lot for this share.
