It's an episode in the fourth season, but I can't remember the exact one. It's the one where both Rory and Lorelai have breakdowns, Lorelai because she doesn't have enough money for the Inn, Rory because she can't keep up in school. Hope I helped! Sorry I coudn't be more specific.
