  • Is this a BJJ club or trad jiu jitsu?

(im curious as you have yellow and red belts ect.)

  • @JKT6 Neither. What we teach and practice is fundamentally equivalent to BJJ, but our lineage is from Japan. Some BJJ schools use different colored belts (such as yellow or green) in between white and blue. Some use a stripe system on the white belt. The yellow belts you see are considered white belts for competition purposes. The red belts are used for competition purposes to designate one fighter from the other.

  • @TheJiuJitsuFighter thats really cool

im guessing you guys teach all the traditional japanese jiu jitsu self defence moves along side a good grappling system (with and without gi?)

or are you're school just a grappling school like any bjj gym?

    oh and nice video :)

  • @JKT6 Yes, I have a complete program. My curriculum includes self defense techniques that are taught during gi classes. We have three gi and two no-gi classes per week.
