@scarred2112 Thats funny. I have a fretless AB1 and I'm looking for a fretted one. To my ears it is for sure the best acoustic bass guitar ever made...now if Taylor would just make them again!

@termite98th I think its the strings, they normal sound guitar like because they have Roundwounds on them which are brighter, more poppy and trebley, etc. This guy has flatwounds on, or some sort of nylon string maybe, but they definitely are one of the reasons it sounds so bassy

The best acoustic bass guitar that I've heard so far! Most acoustic basses sound like acoustic guitars with bass strings on them, but the Taylor acoustic bass has a nice tone that doesn't sound guitar-ish>>>>>Not sure if it is the choice of strings, but the sound is truly remarkable.
